Spec sheets are where the actual work of design is done. Having a notion or an idea for a product is worthless if it cannot be communicated effectively to a sample room or factory. Products developed from an existing sample need very different specifications from those developed from scratch. Detail work, stitching instructions, or print placements can elevate a product beyond its material and silhouette.
